Installing Loki in Kali-Linux 64Bit/32bit and Backtrack 64bit/32bit



Loki – a Python based framework implementing many packet generation and attack modules for Layer 3 protocols, including BGP, LDP, OSPF, VRRP and quite a few others.


To Install in Kalil inux/Backtrack 32Bit

root@kali:~/loki#

Main Package

root@kali:~/loki# dpkg -i loki_0.2.7-1_i386.deb

root@kali:~/loki# loki.py


To install it on kali (amd64bit):

Trace your Friend IP Address

How to Trace your Facebook Friend IP Address: [Through Chat Service] :

TRACING IP'S:

To Do so we will be using “netstat” command in windows. If you want to know the IP address of a specific person on facebook or orkut or any chat service, there is only one way: Just invite or ping him for a chat and while chat is ON open ‘Command Prompt‘ on your PC (Start >Run>cmd).

CAUTION: 
          Before trying this make sure you close all the other tabs in your browser. and only facebook is open. also if possible delete all the history and cache from your browser !!!
When command prompt opens Type the following command and hit Enter.

C:\netstat -an


For linux Based system type :  $netstat -tupan

And you will get all established connections IP addresses there. Note down all the suspicious IP’s

Tracing Location:


              To do so we will be using IP tracer service. Go to the below address and paste the IP address in the box that says “lookup this ip or website”. and it will show you the location of the user.

now you get ip address of your victim you can hack him remotely! trace his/her location and much more !! :D

How to Run Google Chrome as Root on Backtrack Linux or Ubuntu

When you run google chrome as root user you will get the following error(Google chrome cannot be run as root)




To run the google chrome as root user do the following steps:

Step :1

         Go to cd /opt/google/chrome


Step :2

  Open vi google-chrome  file. Find  the following line at last exec -a "$0" "$HERE/chrome" "$@"






Step:3

 Replace it to exec -a "$0" "$HERE/chrome" "$@" --user-data-dir $HOME

         Now open Google chrome from  the Application>Internet>Google Chrome .

Install Classic Menu Indicator in Ubuntu 12.10



                        How to install classic menu indicator in ubuntu 12.10 ?


          Classic Menu Indicator provides a simple way to get a GNOME style application menu.

This simple tutorial is going to show how to install it in Ubuntu 12.10.

After installing your classic menu indicator will be like this screen shot.




The PPA contains the packages of ClassicMenu Indicator has not yet updated in Ubuntu 12.10 . You can directly download the classic menu deb package from the following link:

Hit Ctrl+Alt+T copy and paste the following command to install the downloaded packages:


After Downloading classic menu indicator run the following command (Give the correct file path)

$ sudo dpkg -i Downloads/classicmenu-indicator_0.07_all.deb





Run this command to fix dependencies:

$sudo apt-get -f install





After completing the above steps restart your system or logout and then logon .After logging in you will see the classic menu indicator icon in top right of the system tray.

Reset Your forgotten Password in Ubuntu within 2mins or less.

        How to Reset Forgotten Password in UBUNTU/Ubuntu password cracking

                                Reset Your forgotten Password in ubuntu or Access your friends system without knowing their password just in 2minutes or less.


There are so many reasons you might want to reset a Ubuntu password:

  1. Someone gave you a computer with ubuntu installed but not the password.
  2. You just installed Ubuntu and forget the password during installation or some of your friends forget the password.
Step1:
           First you have to reboot your system.
Step2:
            Hold down the shift key during bootup.
Step3:
           
From the boot menu, select the (2nd Option) recovery mode.




Step4:

After you select recovery mode and wait for all the bootup processes to finish.

Step5:
             After the following screen opens select the root Drop to root shell prompt & press ok.After     selecting root option the root shell prompt will be open below.Now the file system state is read only mode.We have to change read,write mode in order to change password.

Step6:

To list the user currently present in the system type the $ls /home command to list usernames.

Step7:

            After listing select the username that you want change the password.In my case i am going to change the password for username dinesh.
root@ubuntu:~#mount -o rw,remount /
                                          (make sure that you have to give space after remount in the above command)
root@ubuntu:~#ls /home
root@ubuntu:~#passwd dinesh
root@ubuntu:~#exit


Step 8:
        After you get back to the recovery menu, select resume normal boot.Then use the password whatever you changed for  the particular username.Crack it!!!!!!!!!
