Install Classic Menu Indicator in Ubuntu 12.10



                        How to install classic menu indicator in ubuntu 12.10 ?


          Classic Menu Indicator provides a simple way to get a GNOME style application menu.

This simple tutorial is going to show how to install it in Ubuntu 12.10.

After installing your classic menu indicator will be like this screen shot.




The PPA contains the packages of ClassicMenu Indicator has not yet updated in Ubuntu 12.10 . You can directly download the classic menu deb package from the following link:


                           click here to download classicmenu-indicator_0.07_all



Hit Ctrl+Alt+T copy and paste the following command to install the downloaded packages:


After Downloading classic menu indicator run the following command (Give the correct file path)

$ sudo dpkg -i Downloads/classicmenu-indicator_0.07_all.deb





Run this command to fix dependencies:

$sudo apt-get -f install





After completing the above steps restart your system or logout and then logon .After logging in you will see the classic menu indicator icon in top right of the system tray.
